Policies for In-Person Classes

COVID Policy for In-Person Classes

Please refer to UNC Asheville’s Expectations of Mutual Respect & Care for All. Our shared commitment is to take the necessary precautions to avoid spreading COVID-19 while following all recommended health guidelines.

UNC Asheville encourages health and safety best practices, including hand washing and staying home when sick. We respect each member of our campus community’s choice to wear or not wear a mask.

Parking

We are grateful to the following community partners hosting our Fall 2025 in-person classes: Grace Episcopal Church, Hatch Coworking, and UNC Asheville.

  • Grace Episcopal: Parking is available behind the building and is free.

Longer-duration parking is available behind the building and can be accessed from Ann Street, via Patton Ave. The loading dock is accessed by a set of stairs from this parking area.
  • UNC Asheville: All visitors to campus must register for a free Visitor Parking Permit.  Visitors may park in any Visitor, Non-Resident, or All Permit lot.
    • Karpen Hall: Parking is located beside the building (lot P17 on the campus map.)
    • Reuter Center: Parking is located in front of and behind the building (lot P10 on the campus map).
